Dr. El Adl is a global leader in artificial intelligence, cognitive digital twin, and Intelligent digital systems. In 2016, he coined and published the concepts of the “Cognitive Digital Twin (CDT), Cognitive Digital Thread (CDH), and Cognitive Digital Swarm (CDS)”. Those concepts used advanced AI capabilities to augment the original concept of Digital Twin originally coined by NASA in 2010. CDT is increasingly becoming the main driving technology and system architectures for complex industry solutions and products.
Over the last 25+ years, he held different leadership positions with global enterprise software solutions and Big Five consulting companies. He led Accenture global AI technology consulting and intelligent industry solutions for the natural resources industries. He was the global CTO for the Manufacturing Industries at Computer Science Cooperation – CSC (currently DXC Technology). Also, he served as the SAP’s Global Vice President for solutions and services innovation.
Dr. El Adl was the primary investigator for an initiative with the US Airforce and Space Force aiming to evaluate the “Cognitive Digital Twins, Threads, and Swarms” for People and machines.
He has a PhD in Computer Science (AI/Computer Vision) and Post Doc. research in biologically inspired AI systems and mobile industrial Robotics.
