Christine Forfar is a Professional Engineer, business leader, and project manager with close to 20 years of diverse experience in the Canadian oil and gas industry.

Currently, Christine is leading the teams responsible for delivering the digital and business transformation at Shell Scotford as the site transitions from traditional hydrocarbon processing to a suite of sustainable energy products. The transformative digital elements include asset digital twin, predictive analytics, robotics, and technologies to enable customer centricity and enhance human reliability. The business transformation captures new ways of working, upskilling, and capability building for the asset of the future.

Christine's career highlights include her direction on developing a major compliance project to deploy an innovative and cost-effective tailings technology solution to mitigate social license liability and her lead on a mega project's redesign that resulted in a significant reduction in estimated capital cost. In addition, she is specialized in partnering with internal and external stakeholders to manage difficult, complex, contentious, high-risk, and high-profile work by integrating across functions and multiple lines of business.
