The digitalization of the oilfield continues to accelerate, with the 2020 pressures of COVID joining the ongoing price instability and carbon reduction targets pushing owner/operators and service companies transformation projects.

IoT, machine learning, AI, digital twins, drones, automation, blockchain, additive manufacturing – the strategic adoption of digital technology is imperative to the survival of the industry, and Canadian companies are proving to be global leaders in innovative solutions and projects.

For 6 years, the Energy Conference Network has been organizing the leading digital energy events in Calgary, and we are pleased to return in May 2021 with our Digitalization in Oil and Gas Canada event. Thousand have attended our IoT, machine learning and blockchain events in the past, and we cannot wait to reconnect with colleagues and friends for the next event iteration.

All sessions will be live streamed for this event.

About the 2020 Event

In February 2020, over 200 oil and gas innovators joined us at the BMO Center to discuss and debate the future of Canada’s oil and gas sector.

"As someone who has worked in both tech and oil and gas, I was floored by the quality of speakers brought together by this conference team. Each speaker brought an intimate understanding of the work ahead of us in marrying the two sectors, and how the sum of these parts will go on to benefit Alberta as a whole. I can whole heartily say the IoT in Oil and Gas Canada conference is a must attend for anyone looking to bring tech based innovation to Canada’s natural resources sectors."

Tyler Farmer, Manager, Business Transformation & Partnerships
Information and Communications Technology Council

"I thought the event was very well planned, with a lot of great presenters and very relevant topics. It was a great event to meet new technology providers and generate new ideas."
