Prior to this role, Hector held diverse leadership positions in over 20 countries, spanning drilling operations, research and development, talent management, and, more recently, energy transition. His work has been featured in Forbes, MIT Sloan Review, Harvard Business School AMP and several other prominent Latin American publications. He is also a distinguished speaker at prominent international forums such as ADIPEC and CERAWeek. Hector holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a master’s in engineering, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and an advanced management degree from Harvard Business School.
