Steve Reece is Vice President, Information Technology at Keyera Corporation, one of Canada’s leading integrated midstream energy companies. In this role, he oversees Keyera’s enterprise-wide digital and technology strategy and leads a national team responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and innovative solutions that enable operational excellence across the company’s natural gas gathering, processing, transportation, storage, and liquids infrastructure network.

With three decades of technology leadership experience in the North American and International energy sectors, Mr. Reece has held senior roles across both upstream and midstream organizations. Earlier in his career, he also led teams within technology firms specializing in decision support, data management, and advanced analytics solutions for exploration and production companies. His career has been defined by a consistent focus on leveraging digital capabilities, data-driven insights, and modern infrastructure to improve safety, performance, and business outcomes.

Steve holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Queen’s University and a Petroleum Engineering Technology diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
