As the Vice President of Information Services at TC Energy a $48B company with over 7000 employees, Ms. Charron is responsible for the management of the Company's information services and technology functions. She is also responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the Information Services organization and its 800+ employees and contractors spread across Canada, the United States, Mexico and offshore.
Since joining the company in 2002, Ms. Charron has held various progressively senior roles within the organization. In her role as Director, Enterprise Data Strategy, she was responsible for the origination and implementation of a hub-and-spokes model of data management and was an early adopter of machine learning and artificial intelligence. Prior to this, she held the role of Director, Technical Centre Strategy & Analytics, with accountability for implementing a new model for reporting and analytics and closely collaborating with senior executives to provide strategic oversight for the organization.
Ms. Charron obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (Advanced Major, Computational Mathematics) from St. Francis Xavier University and has worked as a career IT professional. She is the champion for a TC Energy program that employs Indigenous software testers across Canada, reducing the barriers to rewarding and sustainable careers in remote communities.
