The Director Programmes key responsibility is to drive the ongoing Joint Industry Programmes, and coordinate with the Engineering and Standards Director for industry alignment, seeking opportunities for further collaboration where deep technical expertise and capability can transform our industry and beyond. This position plays an active role in supporting the Energy Transition, Workforce Energy, Safety and x-industry initiatives, working closely with the Engineering Leadership Council across sponsoring members.
Michael is a secondee from Shell, with almost 30 years in Engineering and Operations leadership positions, having worked in Australia, Malaysia, Canada, USA, Qatar, Netherlands, and the UK across multiple lines of business.
With a technical background, Michael also holds Business and Commerce Degree’s, with a focus on Economics and International Business.
