Garrett's diverse and broad experience spans most Oil & Gas businesses and corporate functions in many countries; with leadership roles across IT application / infrastructure / consultation, IT support / operations / project delivery, capital project delivery, and Joint Venture Leadership. Of the 32+ year career with Shell, the past 22+ have been in change related leadership roles, and the last 8+ Leading IT/ Information / Digital capability delivery for the 18+ Billion Dollar LNG Canada capital project and joint venture.

Garrett’s track record of success – even in unfamiliar business areas he was parachuted in to affect an outcome – are attributed to his win-win approach (cross-discipline, business vs. supplier, corporate vs. individual), end-to-end integrated value approach, learner mindset, team/individual leadership, and strong resiliency/maturity/calmness/risk-based decision making - even in crisis situations.

Garrett has recently retired from Shell and is taking time to enjoy family, motorcycling, and travel.
